The Rob Roy Way and also the Carron Valley
The past two weeks have been great in terms of the weather and I have been out building up my basic walking fitness every day. In this weeks episode I have audio from the Carron Valley and the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. I also spent a weekend at Strathyre and walked along the Rob Roy Way along the side of Loch Lubnaig. Skid (my Jack Russell) has been picking up ticks on our recent walks so I discuss the Scottish tick, some of the issues and how to remove them.

August 14, 2017 at 7:29 amHi Kevin, really enjoying the podcasts. We (Linda and Christopher Phillip) have fallen in love with Scotland over the last ten years or so. Our favourite trips so far are the Calmac ‘hop scotch’ routes around the inner and outer Hebrides islands in the spring (pre midgees) and the Cairngorm’s in the winter which is magnificent once the snows arrive. We have a Hymer motorhome, its a bit long in the tooth but great for the off grid locations that we find ourselves in. Please keep up the good work and hope to see you and Skid out there soon. How did Skid get his name? Guessing you have slippery floor coverings!
